Pre/Post Natal
I design programs for pregnant women, women preparing to get pregnant and women who've just had their babies. When I was pregnant with my two children I found it challenging to find the right fitness support through the journey of bearing children. It is a magical time, and also a time when you can feel drained, and physically challenged. Pilates is an excellent way to stay conditioned during pregnancy.
Pilates also helps women regain their core strength and tone after childbirth. Weight training boosts the metabolism, restores muscle lost during pregnancy, and brings us back to our natural pre-pregnancy weight. Some of the services I offer my pre/post natal clients are stability exercises to deal with hormonal changes, core work to maintain fitness levels, and post pregnancy training to re-establish fitness. I customize programs depending on a woman's goals, and current challenges.
